Bauhaus Architect(o)ure in Berlin 

“The guest with ticket number 11 wins the Architect(o)ure to Berlin” – this sentence and the subsequent joy of the winner still ring in our ears as if it were yesterday. During our celebration of the company’s 20th anniversary, Mr Brummer, Employee of WETZEL & von SEHT (engineering company for civil engineering, consulting engineers, and test engineers for structural engineering VPI), had the right number on his name tag, which was drawn from the pot by our fortune fairy. So in mid-December, together with a companion, he was able to enjoy a weekend in Berlin and go on a Bauhaus Architect(o)ure with Dipl.-Ing. Ulf Meyer, author of Bauhaus Architektur (Prestel Verlag, Munich).

A century of Bauhaus has certainly left many interesting impressions, not only on this weekend of the Bauhaus Year in Berlin, but also in the sense of our guiding principle, namely to let design follow function with the principle of “people at the core”.

Mr Meyer explained these impressions to our winner in an interesting and impressive way.

It's great that Mr Brummer’s prize was redeemed so promptly and that he and his companion enjoyed it so much – we are delighted for him.
