"Tatort Stadt" Competition for young planners

On the initiative of architects from studioberlin, Oliver von Spreckelsen and Barbara Ludescher, we applied to the ideas competition of the Federal Ministry of Building as part of the Architecture and Building Culture Initiative as an interdisciplinary planning team, a young company at the time, together with terraform landscape architects, Sandra Bartoli and Andreas Ziegeler. The team worked on a typical prefabricated neighbourhood in Schwerin Neu Zippendorf and proposed urban development transformations of the existing buildings from prefabricated buildings to an attractive green residential complex with smaller residential units, taking advantage of the location at Lake Schwerin, and was able to impress the competition judges and win first place for the team in the competition. It was not just this success and the subsequent invitations and lectures that provided a lasting impact.
