Sport Ground Meldorf

In Meldorf in Dithmarschen, a sports ground, the Stadion Promenade, was to be completely renovated. In addition to the construction of the new multi-purpose sports facility, consisting of a football pitch and areas for athletics with Tartan track, this also involved the construction of the new multifunctional building for the sports club TuRa Meldorf with all necessary spaces and the associated outdoor areas for football matches in accordance with the specifications of the Schleswig-Holstein Football Association (SHFV) and the sports club. We were entrusted with the planning which first involved the demolition of the old company building and subsequent new construction. Several wishes needed to be accommodated under one roof: The TuRa Meldorf sports club and its footballers, as well as athletes from other disciplines and pupils from the surrounding schools, should feel at home there. In the spirit of inclusion, the needs of the mentally and/or physically impaired residents of Stiftung Mensch, who should also enjoy playing sports frequently at this facility, were especially taken into account in the planning.
